I honestly didn't like this book. I felt the dialogue was unrealistic and that some characters were unbelievable. This, however, is probably my fault. I was expecting a scholarly piece (what I was told), but would have known it wasn't had I simply looked inside the book for foot/endnotes. I begin this review with tears in my eyes--tears which have welled up as my heart has been taken on a journey of both pain and hope in the reading of this magnificent book.
