Elizabeth Ann Rose calls the Indian reservation in southern California home, and is upset and angry when she and her family must leave and travel the road again while her daddy plays in his band and tries to become famous.

She and her family live out of an old beat up station wagon traveling from one city to another. Sometimes, living in dirty old hotel rooms where mice and cockroaches are their only pets.

When Beth Ann turns eleven she finds more than chocolate cake being served. Her mom serves her daddy divorce papers, takes her three children and heads out to begin a new life. In one short summer, Beth Ann’s life completely changes, and she ends up in Novata, a small Northern California town. The very town that will change her life forever.

Write-Up Regarding Books The Journey of Elizabeth Ann Rose (Seasons of Love and War Saga Book 3)
The third book in this incredible saga, Journey, takes you back to the childhood of Beth Ann and her friends, and shows how the romance between her and Kaylob started. The author really has a sweet, innocent style that makes you feel like you are revisiting a wholesome, comforting, nostalgic place. This whole saga really is a journey for anyone interested in romance or great writing in general...

Loved it. Gave us a good picture of where the heroine and hero came from and why they are the way they are!

I really enjoyed this story of childhood innocence and first love. Being from the Bay Area, I loved the little town of Novato and Sawyers Pond in this story. Brought back some memories from my own childhood. The friends Beth Ann meets and bonded with are well adored. I found myself laughing and then getting mad at Blake and wanted to read more. Glad there's another book out.

This story went back in time and told a story of two kids that were just meant to be. It brought me to understand Beth Ann and Kaylob even more than before. I loved the small Novato town and all these kids. There is no way you won't fall in love even more with Beth Ann and Kaylob. You will discover and go on a journey with her living out of a car. Always moving from one town to another and sometimes going to be hungry. This is a must read and a very well written book. I loved it.

This book was such a sweet trip back in time. Things were a lot more innocent in some ways, but don't let that fool you into thinking this book isn't filled with complicated emotions and adolescent problems that adults would have a hard time handling. The developing love story between Beth Ann and Kaylob and the animosity between Kaylob and Blake are so satisfying to watch, and it's so wonderful that there are more books in the saga so you can keep reading to find out what happens to these

What a wonderful prequel. The way Beth Ann lived in the car and dirty hotel rooms with her siblings was sad. She ends up in Novato Ca where her life gets stable and for the first time she has a best friend and her own room. The friendships and love she finds there will melt your heart and keep you laughing at the same time. I would have loved to have been there as the kids slid down the hills on cardboard and created bonds that would surely last a lifetime.
