Very short read, and a very interesting idea; however it was not developed well enough to be great. It is a passable "scary" story but I think the fear factor was hindered by a lackadaisical first person narrative.WowFor a short horror story this was so much fun. You never know what might be in that little wooden box. A great twist ending. The bonus story was surprising
Quick and dirty, with some interesting ideasThis was a fun read, though to be honest it felt more like something from Creepypasta or /nosleep; the length and ambiguity both work for the piece (leaving you hungry, pardon the pun, and giving a quick shudder) and against it (not giving you enough time to fully immerse yourself, and feeling slightly rushed.) Well worth checking out, though, and the preview piece at the end serves as a great teaser that inspires you to seek out more by this author.
"Papap's Teeth" by Danielle DeVor is a great short horror story with a dose of sentiment and nostalgia and a few very hairy moments. What is in grandfather's wooden box and how will it affect Sara's life? I can't tell you, but I will say that DeVor understands perfectly to reel you in with her touching story about a girl's curiosity and fascination, setting the scene of a regular family and the only slightly odd grandfather. Before you know it the disturbing secret is out.The horror creeps
Very quick and very creepy! I really liked this!
I love the voice in which this story is told because it goes perfectly with the timeline and characters of this story. It's a quick and intriguing story with a fun eeriness to it. I promise you'll never think of teeth the same way again.
Good, It was really good to read. As a short story I can't expect better than that, no offence of course. Liked it...
