Tongue-in-cheek humor and witty sarcasm are practically pureed in a blender overflowing with muscle-inducing steroids, fantasy jargon, and diminished intellectual capacity. Nectar the Barbarian may have popping deltoids and pecs, and the most vainglorious attitude to accompany said musculature, but the elevator doesn't go to the top floor. No worries, though! Nectar the Barbarian is my favorite, this book makes you want to run because it is so fun thinking about what you just read and like me, I get the jokes later.
