This is the third book in the Imago series and they are only getting better. Fantastic character driven fantasy at its best. One of the things I love the most about this series is the fully fleshed out characters. Especially the main protagonist, Nayla Treeborn. She captures your heart and makes you care about everything else in the book too. She is multi-faceted - tough, a warrior maiden, but at the same time a woman with insecurities and flaws.
