Europe is full of dark memories. Giselle's love is forbidden; her chance to be a mother destroyed. She flees to America where she becomes the haute couture fashion designer to the wealthy, high-society Grand Dames of New York. After all, she had been mentored in Paris by the legendary Charles Worth himself.Giselle's past remains cloaked in shadows, increasing her allure. Her heart is engaged by a man who comes to her only in secrecy, drawing her back to her mysterious past.
When her brother dies and his wife abandons their child, she takes on the care of her infant nephew. Giselle decides she has to stop and take stock of her life. She has been given her one chance to be a mother, but the cost will be the end of the few moments she can still have with her one true love.
Yet love is not easily destroyed for those who are strong enough to survive its pain.

I have read all of the books in Gastien's series and I have loved each and every one of them. Caddy Rowland definitely didn't disappoint with this one either! I laughed, I cried, and I laughed some more! Caddy is a magnificent author and an even better friend. I feel like Gastien and his family are a part of my own family, especially since I was named Second in Command by Giselle int this edition! I <3 YOU Caddy Rowland and I adore your work!*Review copy provided by author*Christina "Baker"
Giselle: Keeper of The Flame is Book four in this series and is just as Amazing as the others. It grabbed hold of me and I couldn't put it down. All the characters are seperated with their own personalities, which makes the series and this book unique and life like. I respect the role of Giselle, and the responsabilities that she has taken on. I almost wish for Gastien and Jacques to be together, which I'm sure after the horrible situation they was in at the end, it will at least, bring them a
What an up and down ride poor Giselle had in her life even though she was a famous designer. Was so glad she took in Gastien and gave some stability to his life. A great read and am looking forward to reading book five of the series and am sorry it's the end of the series.
I love Giselle, at first I wasn't excited about this book but after a few pages my mind was changed. This book is about Giselle and Laurent. It takes place mostly in New York City. Giselle has always wanted to follow in her Mother's footsteps and be a fashion designer. That is until she met Laurent while on vacation in Italy. They end up falling in love and she is prepared to give up her dream to be with him. Laurent is to return home to take over the family empire. He's so happy to be returning
I loved reading about Giselle and her life. She is Gastien's child and very headstrong when in her 20's!Giselle wanted to move to America and make a name for herself in the fashion industry. And that she did! All of Gastein's children have been successful in business but personal lives not as much.I like how Caddy intertwined history within the book. During Giselle's lifetime their was Wars, sickness, unions, and fires. All of that to contend with while building a business. She had put any kind
I received Giselle: Keeper of the Flame from Caddy for review. This is the fourth book in the historic Gastien family saga. Giselle, Gastiens (book 1-2) only daughter, continues the artistic bloodline of the family with her medium being fashion. Giselle, like her brother Tristan (book 3), proves to be successful in business but not so much in love. Shes less.Ill word this nicely.promiscuous than her father and brother which made me want her to find happiness all the more. I had some issues with
