Representaion In Pursuance Of Books Toil and Trouble (Jolie Wilkins #2)

The underworld in civil war. The cause? A witch who can reanimate the dead. A sexy as sin vampire determined to claim her. An infuriatingly handsome warlock torn between duty and love. Who says blonds have more fun?

After defending herself against fairy magic, Jolie Wilkins wakes to find her world turned upside down—the creatures of the underworld on the precipice of war.

The underworld is polarized in a battle of witch against witch, creature against creature, led by the villainous bella, who would be queen. While Jolie has one goal in mind, to stake the vampire, Ryder, who nearly killed her, she also must choose between the affections of her warlock employer, rand, and the mysteriously sexy vampire, Sinjin.

And as if that weren’t enough to ruin a girl’s day, everything Jolie knows will be turned inside out when she’s thrust into the shock of a lifetime.

Commentary Regarding Books Toil and Trouble (Jolie Wilkins #2)
WOW, what an ending! When is the next book, I am SOLD!

I just love Jolie and all the characters.. This book is a must read.. HP is an amazing author..

Ignore the cover. Why have I said to ignore the cover? Well, it seems to imply that this series is somewhat comedic on the lines of Bewitched! Far from it. Jolie is a somewhat psychic young woman who does Tarot readings who is suddenly thrust into a new, frightening world! It starts when Rand, a warlock, enters her life and convinces her that she is a witch. She discovers a previously unimagined world of witches, warlocks, vampires, weres, demons and fairies. There is also a power struggle going

Witches, Warlocks, and Waging a War.Jolie Wilkins is a witty, sarcastic psychic. Well, until she found out she's a witch and her power is so strong she can reanimate otherworldy creatures. Now she's a witty, sarcastic witch who's about to join forces with her beloved Rand. A war is being waged between the faeries, vampires, werewolves, and witches. But is Jolie biting off more than she can chew?I. Could. NOT. Put. This. Book. Down! I had the first book in this series in my TBR pile for entirely

I didn't like the first book in this series, but I gave the second a shot because I like other series by this author. My expectations were low because I despised the characters previously. Characters that are over the age of 18 but act like they're experiencing puberty pangs are intolerable. I must have been high on carbon monoxide fumes when I bought this book. If you're wondering what killed it for me, I present the following: "...his limp thingy""...like a hula hoop sausage style"That's

I thought about giving these books 2 stars but in the end, I'll give them 3 simply because they are such quick reads and they do have their bright spots. Even despite the annoying parts, I found myself wondering what was going to happen next and how Jolie was going to get out of this or that situation, and I could envision the world Mallory was attempting to build rather well even despite her excess of supernatural creatures. And when Jolie isn't being annoying, I like the humor in her first

Toil and Trouble takes off where the first book, Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble left off. Jolie had just dueled with Dougal, champion of the fairy king Odran, in order to win thier allegiance against Bella, the big bad bitch and her minions. Thankfully, she won. But, in order to do so, she had to take in much of Dougal's negative energy and use some of her own life force. It not only put her in a coma for three days, but after waking from it, left her incapacitated. While she was resting and
