I don't know what else I can say that other reviewers haven't covered so this will be short and sweet, just a quick personal opinion rather than a detailed examination. I have adored Chi's Sweet Home ever since I read the very first volume years ago and it was no let down here at the end. This conclusion was well-paced, suspenseful, emotional, humorous, and beautiful both in the abstract sense of the quality of the storytelling and in the more literal sense of the adorable, colorful, well-madeI'm so happy that Chi found her real family (IE Yohei) but more importantly that her kitty family gave her well wishes to be with them and then let Cocchi into their lives. Though the scary car scene with Chi's mom was a little too harrowing.
The last book. I've always loved cats and am currently owned by a cat myself. Not only is Chi drawn well, she acts exactly like a cat, too. I like her adventures a lot. In fact, I totally love the series. All the animals are so very cute. I'm somewhat sad that the series has ended, but I'm glad that Chi chose to go with her adopted family to France, with the blessing of her mother, no less.
I didn't realize it was the series end until I was reading it. I guess it's nice when stories have an ending.
A rather cute series! Clearly aimed for a younger audience but I did enjoy it quite a bit, its a cute story thats quick and easy to follow!
a lovely conclusion. i'm sorry there won't be new volumes, but i feel like it ended exactly where it should.
I can't believe the Chi series is over. What a perfect conclusion to an adorable, heartwarming, and funny series. I heart Chi.
