It also threw me off a bit that the main characters name was Lexie and my step-daughters name is Lexi so at times I felt like I was reading about my step-daughter, which was weird. I got over that eventually and the book was no longer awkward to read. The story was almost like a Romeo and Juliet type of love. She fellSydney, Lexies sisters scored front row seats and back stage passes for her, Lexie and her best friend Brooke as a college graduation present. Lexie ready for the next step in her life after receiving a job offer that is the envy. The one thing is she doesnt start until after Labor Day so she has the summer off.Van is the lead singer for Devils Garden. Hes relationship averse and with women throwing themselves at him at every turn, theres really no reason to change his ways. That is until Lexie
