April's Secret Storm
Let me start by saying that I do not usually read love stories or romance novels, but this book was so well written that I hardly thought about the genre. There was such depth to the characters combined with a beautiful flow and pace to the story that, before I knew it, I was absorbing the last few words. Frankie was a character that I can definitely relate to and found myself being reminded of my past many times while learning about his life. There is a different dimension to this love story

The cover drew me to the book. Had I know it was romance I probably wouldnt have read it, as I havent read romance novels in decades. It was young romance; therefore, it took me back to another time during my reading career. Im not the best person to review this book. The book had some interesting plots. This book was complete within itself even though it was part of a series. I surmised some of the previous events. The author did a good job in referencing them. I think though if I had read
Loved it. Love the characters. Love the story. Love how the relationships build and the characters grow. I definitely want to read the four books before this one and I can't wait to read book 6! Started this book last night, couldn't wait to finish it!It's 2 am, I need to sleep now!
This was such a surprise. This book was recommended to me and I read it. I want to go back and read all her books. This one was close to home and I could relate to Kaylob. Being lied to and told things later on instead of when your young, can blow your world apart. Brenda Barry was able to make these people come alive. Her characters were complex and felt like someone I would hang out with. Great job and I can't wait to read the other books.

This was wonderful and touched me deeply. Kaylob finding out all the family secrets and trying to deal with what Beth Ann was going through. It was great to see how he handled it. The romance between Frankie and Shawna was not only sweet but very humorous and had me laughing out loud. Everything in this book was done so well. It made me cry, get angry and laugh. All the emotions. It had be pacing as I waited for the next installment.Let me start by saying that I do not usually read love stories or romance novels, but this book was so well written that I hardly thought about the genre.
