This was a cute book, and a bit of a respite from some angsty type books I've read recently (I have a low angst threshold, it turns out, who knew). For twenty-five cents from my public library's book sale bought because of the title, this book was OK. Seventh grade angst was spot on in portrayal, but the conclusion was very predictable. The good news is that I read it in two hours while watching another Chicago Cubs victory last night (Go Cubs, Go), so an OK book didn't involve wasted time or a lot of brain power.
