Past Sins is a beautiful story of motherly love and redemption--I was initially shocked at the deep themes hidden within. I am not a fanfiction reader (this is the first I have ever completely read) or a "brony", but rather a long-time My Little Pony collector who loves and appreciates all generations.Being fanfiction, I did not expect much in writing style or grammatical correctness, but was pleasantly surprised. Although there are a few typos, they can be forgiven--what really matters is theIt's important to keep in mind that this is a fanfic. If I had to put it simply, this is the best plot to any book, movie, TV show, etc. I have ever experienced. I honestly don't know to review this without being bias - I simply love it far too much. This is a great story based on the My Little Pony fourth generation TV series characters from the show. It is an adventure story about a spell that goes wrong. Main character Twilight Sparkle struggles to learn what really happened and how to fix it as she cares for a new little filly. Share their joys and sorrows throughout this fantastically well written MLP fan fiction.

It was a really good story. I want to read all the other ones Pen Stroke has created now. I also hope they make more books in the series.
