I cant imagine liking this better than the movie (wich was awesome!) but just in case I added itOne of the very few romances I could not only finish, but read over and over again.
Just absolutely wonderful!!! Equally as as wonderful as the movie!!!😊❤😍
I was so excited when i found out this was made a book. I loved the movie as a child, which i consider one of the best fairy tale movies ever. The character of Danielle de Barbarac is beautiful in many different ways. She's adventurous, hilarious, romantic, idealistic and so human. The quotes are just amazing even making reference to Utopia by Thomas More.
Sad face. This book didn't do the movie any justice at all.
It's a great book, (I read it in one sitting, in about 5 hours) I noticed a few things that was left out from the movie, just very minor things, but in the book they said what happened to her mother and at the very end what happened to Jacqueline and Captain Laurent, this is really a good companion book to have if you really love the movie as I do. Don't ask me how many times I have watched the movie as I have watched it more than a dozen times, probably closer to 20 or 30 times at least if not
Just like reading the movie.Charming, romantic, and heart-meltingly wonderful!!
