Goodreads win. This book is set during the Confederate Wartime. It is a kind of complicated plot about war, love, slave saving, and treason and seeking advice from sorcerers in Louisisana.I usually really enjoy books like this, but for some reason this one just did not grab me. "Creole Moon, The Betrayal" is a story that takes place during the 1800s when the deep south was a challenging place to live. What appears to be the celebration of his brother's marriage changes when he meets the beautiful Jewella. George's involvement with her causes him to take some unorthodox measures to save her. Thank you GoodReads for the book.

I liked this book a lot, actually. The author's writing is always well-crafted, easy to read, and richly detailed without being boring or overambitious.Creole Moon The Betrayal is a book that takes place around the eighteen hundreds, set in New Orleans, this book deals with the mysterious voodoo that the region is known for. I was kind of just going through the motions while reading this book. It didn't grab me like other supernatural type books usually do. The main character is an soldier in the Confederate army, who has a twin brother. He's in town for his brothers wedding. Weddings are not George's thing, as he has different views on life in comparison to his twin brother. Everything changes, and he is forced to take a different life path when a woman becomes involved. The story is following George and his
