Lagunitas' company history is full of fascinating (and it some cases hilarious) anecdotes, and Tony tells them with his unique voice, which is clearly a major influence behind the Lagunitas brand.While reading, I couldn't help but daydream of Lagunitas' amazing Beer Sanctuary in Petaluma. Fresh beer, homemade potato chips and French onion dip, quirky live music starting each day at 4:20pm... Awesome book and story overall, Tony Magee loosen self writing take you through the struggle of the early years, the constant growth of the brewery, the beer, the business so easily that you'll be so into the book you'll finish it faster then expected.
Magee recounts the formula of creating his brand, brews and brewery as mash of blood, sweat, vision, musical theory, good people and loyal relationships. Sometimes irreverent, often self deprecating, Tony's prose is fun, friendly and authentic. Cheers to 20 years, Mr. Magee!
