(Les Trois Mousquetaires #1)
The story itself is amazing and when you look at the quality of the writing, it is really marvelous.

Very nice book,

Wonderful story with great villains and plot.

Travelling back in time, wanting more , travelling back to Bearn and Gascogne and explore Vic de Bigorre, Artagnan, Tarbes and of course carry on with the Musketeers trilogy.. . A definitively must-read treasure

This is my favourite book ever, my go to comfort read. It's so much fun to read, all of the court intrigue and back stabbing mixed in with the adventure and wit of Athos, Portos, Aramis and D'Artagnan makes it enthralling the entire way through. I love the episodic chapter style which makes it easy to put down for a while.

I went to a movie this weekend and saw the trailer for the upcoming Three Muskateers movie. This book has been on or near the top of my "to read" list for a over a year but keeps getting bumped out of its spot by quick and easy book reads or current must reads (like "the girl with the dragon tattoo" series). I'm pumped to finally have picked it up. I've read all of 10 pages and with all of its random references, now it has me wanting to read Don Quixote!
