Asking For Trouble
When Beth Bradshaw - the manager of a fashionable bar in the seaside town of Brighton - starts flirting with the handsome Ilya, she becomes a player in a game based purely on sexual brinkmanship. The boundaries between fantasy and reality start to blur as their relationship takes on an increasingly reckless element.
When Ilya's murky past catches up with him, he's determined to involve Beth. Unwilling to extricate herself from their addictive games, she finds herself being drawn deeper into the seedy underbelly of Brighton where things - including Ilya - are far more dangerous than she bargained for.
A thrilling erotic romance from Kristina Lloyd, one of the leading names in erotic fiction.
The ending stole my breath. Inhales. Whew. Just perfect.Truly smart erotica.
Initially I really liked this one, and then went through a longish phase of being annoyed by all the main character was willing to put up with. I guess this is mainly when Tony and his crew got involved... but basically found it an interesting power play. Bit over the top though. Interesting to read about Brighton which is probably one of the few cities in the UK where I've actually hung out and so can relate to some of the places described.
Awesome book that I couldn't put down.
This book wasn't what I thought it would be. It's not exactly my cup of tea yet I found myself reading it with repulsed fascination.
i thought the sex scenes were raunchy. i wasn't that interested in the plot.
No just no, I don't know what it was about this book but it just didn't do anything for me. I've read lots of erotica, mainly paranormal and I thought 'wow I'm gonna love this'. perhaps I'd hyped it up too much before hand. Nether the less, I didn't like the style in which the book was written. The plot was too raw for the Gothic style of writing. The characters were unbelievably dense. Maybe I will go read it another time but for now I wouldn't recommend it.
